Dr. James Bhaskar, M.D.

Dr. Bhaskar brings more than three decades of clinical experience to Kosmos, including eighteen years in emergency medicine and a longstanding commitment to family medicine. He is known for his steady presence, clinical precision, and the deep compassion he brings to every interaction.

He completed medical school at the American University of the Caribbean and his family medicine residency at Beaumont Health in Detroit. His undergraduate work in biology was at Texas Christian University. He comes from a multigenerational medical family, the son of a physician.

Dr. Bhaskar has been recognized as a Seattle Top Doctor by Seattle Met and Best of Western Washington. The recognition reflects what patients consistently say: that he is a clinician who actually listens, who takes the long view, and who treats the small concerns with the same seriousness as the large ones.
