Dr. Chris Dodd, M.D.

Dr. Dodd is the founder of Kosmos Medical Group. He is a physician known not just for his clinical excellence, but for the enduring relationships he builds with patients across decades of their lives.

With more than twenty years of experience in internal medicine, Dr. Dodd has cared for patients in clinical and leadership roles across the United States and internationally. He has scaled national networks of clinic-based and home-based primary care medical practices, developed care models for patients living with diabetes, HIV, and drug-resistant tuberculosis, and served in Chief Medical Officer roles within venture-backed national primary care medical groups.

His training reflects that breadth. M.D. from Boston University School of Medicine, where he developed his foundation in evidence-based internal medicine. Graduate work at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health deepened his understanding of population health and prevention. Undergraduate at Vanderbilt University.

Greek-American by heritage and a Pacific Northwest native (originally from Richmond Beach, Washington), he chose the name “Kosmos” deliberately. In ancient Greek, kosmos describes the order and harmony of the universe, and the practice is built on bringing that order back to a chaotic system.

In practice, Dr. Dodd believes the quality of the physician-patient relationship is the most undervalued variable in medicine. When a doctor has time to truly know a patient (their history, their habits, their family, their fears), the medical decisions that follow are simply better. That belief is the architecture of Kosmos.
